Is there a free plan?+
Yes. Every account gets a free redirect subdomain (yourname.free.redirectiq.com) — live in seconds, no domain and no credit card required. It's a way to try RedirectIQ for real before you commit, or a home for a project that doesn't have its own domain yet. When you're ready to bring a real domain, Hobby is $2/mo for 10 of them.
What's the difference between the Free plan and Hobby?+
Free gives you a subdomain we already own and host, no card, and no custom domain — it's for trying things out. Hobby is $2/mo for 10 of your own domains with the full feature set, including Edge Proxy. Every paid account also keeps its free subdomain as a bonus space alongside its real domains.
Do I need a credit card?+
Not for the free subdomain — that never asks for one. Any paid plan, including Hobby at $2/mo, is a real subscription and requires a card.
Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?+
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and your card is charged right away. If you downgrade and have more domains than the new plan allows, we will show you exactly which domains will be affected and let you choose how to handle it before any changes are made.
What happens to my domains if I downgrade or cancel?+
Nothing is deleted. If you have more active domains than your new plan allows, the oldest ones are paused — redirects stop, but all your rules are preserved and your SSL certificate stays active. You can reactivate each domain individually from the dashboard the moment your plan allows it. Reactivation is per-domain so you control exactly when traffic resumes on each site.
Do you charge for SSL certificates?+
No. SSL certificates are automatically provisioned for every domain you connect at no extra charge on every plan, including the free plan.
What happens if I go over my included redirects?+
On Hobby, Pro, and Agency, we bill the overage at your plan's per million rate ($1 on Hobby, $0.80 on Pro, $0.50 on Agency) instead of interrupting your redirects. A busy month never breaks your links. The free plan has no billing on file, so it's capped at 100,000 redirects a month. Going over pauses new redirects until the next month, or you can add a paid plan any time to lift the cap immediately.
What if I need more domains than my plan includes?+
Each plan includes a set number of domains, priced at $0.20/domain (10 on Hobby, 100 on Pro, 1,000 on Agency). Need more than Agency's 1,000? Contact us at support@redirectiq.com and we will get you set up.
What does "coming soon" mean on some features?+
These features are actively being built and will be available to all qualifying plan members as they launch — at no extra cost. You will not be charged more when they roll out.
