Redirect Checker — Test Any URL Instantly
Enter a URL to see its final destination, HTTP status code, redirect type, and number of hops. Works for 301, 302, 307, 308, meta refresh, and JavaScript redirects.
What do these results mean?
- 301 — Permanent redirect. Passes full link equity to the destination. Use for domain migrations and permanent URL changes.
- 302 — Temporary redirect. Does not pass link equity. Use only for temporary campaigns.
- 307/308 — Like 302/301 but preserve the HTTP method (POST stays POST).
- Meta refresh — HTML-level redirect. Slower and passes less SEO value. Avoid when possible.
- JS redirect — JavaScript-based redirect. Search engines may not follow these reliably.
